రంగుల జీవితం ‘గ్రూప్ షో’

కస్తూరి శ్రీనివాసన్ ట్రస్ట్ అజంతా సిరీస్ 2022లో తన నాల్గవ ప్రదర్శనను కోయంబత్తూరులో ఏర్పాటుచేసింది. ఈ ప్రదర్శనలో తమిళనాడు, ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్, తెలంగాణ, కర్ణాటక మరియు కేరళ వంటి రాష్ట్రాల నుండి సుమారు పది మంది కళాకారులు తమ చిత్రాలను ప్రదర్శించారు.

పాల్గొన్న వారిలో పి. చిదంబరేశ్వరరావు, రామ్ ప్రతాప్ కాళీపట్నపు, సునీల్ కనాయి, ముత్తురాజ్ టి బాగూర్, ఎన్. రామకృష్ణ, ఎస్. శేఖర్, కె. లలిత, డాక్టర్ కుముధిని బాస్కరన్, వినయ తిరునగరి మరియు కె.పి. సుకాంతి ఉన్నారు. ఈ సిరీస్ లో రోజువారీ జీవితం, వ్యక్తులు మరియు మతం వంటి విభిన్న థీమ్‌లను కవర్ చేసింది. హైదరాబాద్‌కు చెందిన ఆర్టిస్ట్ రామ్ ప్రతాప్ కాళీపట్నపు మాట్లాడుతూ.. ‘‘ఈ షో కోసం కాన్వాస్‌పై యాక్రిలిక్ కలర్స్ తో ప్రకృతి, పురాణాలపై దృష్టి పెట్టానన్నారు. ఎగ్జిబిషన్ ఏప్రిల్ 22 నుండి 24 వరకు, కోయంబత్తూరు, అవినాశి రోడ్‌లోని కస్తూరి శ్రీనివాసన్ ఆర్ట్ గ్యాలరీలో జరిగింది.

Colours of Life ‘Group Show’

The Kasturi Srinivasan Trust has set up its fourth exhibition in Coimbatore in the Ajanta Series 2022. About ten artists from states like Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Kerala exhibited their paintings in this exhibition.
Among the participants was P. Chidambareswara Rao, Ram Pratap Kalipatnam, Sunil Kanai, Muthuraj T Bagoor, N. Ramakrishna, S. Shekhar, K. Lalita, Dr. Kumudhini Baskaran, Vinaya Thirunagari and K.P. Sukanti were.
The series covers a variety of themes such as everyday life, people and religion. Hyderabad-based artist Ram Pratap Kalipatnam said, “For this show, I will focus on nature and mythology with acrylic colors on canvas. The exhibition will be held from April 22 to 24 at the Kasturi Srinivasan Art Gallery, Avinashi Road, Coimbatore.

Kasthuri Sreenivasan (1917-1991) was one of India’s eminent textile technologist, industrial sociologist and a prolific bilingual writer. As Founder Director of South India Textile Research Association (SITRA), he fostered an environment of scientific enquiry, quality control and applied research in the spinning and loom industry. Being an author, he has written more than 25 books covering various genres. He was conferred the Padma Bhushan by the Government of India in 1969. He was also Chairman of the NTC Limited from 1974 to 1981.
Mr. Kasthuri Sreenivasan along with his wife Barbara Sreenivasan started the Kasthuri Sreenivasan Trust in 1981 to promote arts, literature and to encourage artists and writers. The Kasthuri Sreenivasan Culture Centre with an Art Gallery and Textile Museum was built in 1988. The Coimbatore Cancer Foundation was started in 1991 following his battle with Cancer. The Kasthuri Sreenivasan Trust pays tribute to him with art exhibitions and encourages upcoming and established artists in Kasthuri Sreenivasan Art gallery.
