అందుకే ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి ‘కళావాహిని’ (Battalion of Arts) అని పేరు పెట్టారేమో అనిపిస్తుంది.
ఈ నెల 24 నుండి 29 వరకు ఆరు రోజులపాటు 15 మంది చిత్రకారులతో జె.బి.ఆర్. ఆర్కిటెక్చర్ కాలేజీ, హైదరాబాద్ వారి ఆధ్వర్యంలో జరుగనున్న ‘కళావాహిని’ (వర్క్ షాప్) వారి కాలేజి ఆవరణలోనే జరుగనుంది.
ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని సురభి వాణీదేవి (చిత్రకారిణి, ఫౌండర్ ఎస్.వి. కాలేజ్ ఆఫ్ ఫైన్ ఆర్ట్స్), ప్రారంభించనున్నారు. ఇంకా బి. నరసింగరావు (చిత్రకారుడు, సినిమా దర్శకుడు), డా. ఫణిశ్రీ వజ్రాల, డా.ఎన్. కవిత దర్యాని రావ్ పాల్గొంటారు.
ఈ వర్క్ షాప్ లో రమేష్ గుర్జాల, ఫావత్ తమకాంత్, కంది నర్శింలు, శ్యాం భరత్ యాదవ్, మసురం రవికాంత్, ఆనంద్ గడప, పి.జె. స్టాలిన్, అర్పిత రెడ్డి, నిర్మల చిలుక, రమావత్ శ్రీనివాస్ నాయక్, బైరు రఘురాం, శ్రీకాంత్ కురువా, ప్రీతి సంయుక్త, కప్పరి కిషన్, జయప్రకాష్ చిత్రకారులు పాల్గొంటారు. జె.బి.ఆర్. ఆర్కిటెక్చర్ కాలేజీ డైరెక్టర్ గాయత్రి గారు ‘కళావాహిని’ (Battalion of Arts) కార్యక్రమానికి కన్వీనర్ గా వ్యవహరిస్తున్నారు.

THE ART WORKSHOP WITH A DIFFERENCE
Architecture is Girt, nothing else’, is a famous quote by American Architect Mi Philip Johnson, which depicts an intricate and inseparable relationship between Art and Architecture.
For an architect, his pen and paper are like the brush and canvas of an artist. His ideas become alive through art as a medium. It requires one to think deeply and connect with oneself en a deeper level.
Human civilization, since times immemorial, has expressed different facets of society through art, starting from the cave paintings to digital art. Architecture on the other hand is a beautiful amalgamation of Science and Art, ar rather a’ Functional Art’.
It, therefore, allows the architect to come up with creative solutions to resolve complex problems. workshop will help the students of architecture to hone upon their drawing skills and to be able to express their ideas better en paper.
In this novel task, they will be guided by eminent artists whe will help them channelize their creativity into a form en paper. The outcome will be the combined product of Experience and Expertise of the Old and the Creativity and Innovation of the Young.
