చిత్ర, శిల్పకళల్లో నిష్ణాతుడు… ఎందరో యువచిత్రకారులకు మార్గనిర్థేశకుడు అయిన శేషబ్రహ్మంగారు తలపెట్టిన చక్కటి, స్ఫూర్తివంతమైన కార్యక్రమం 21 రోజుల కళా యజ్ఞం… నవ, యువ కళాకారులకు… చిత్రకళా విద్యార్థులకు స్వాగతం పలుకుతూ… ఒక ఆర్ట్ ఛాలెంజ్ తో మీ ముందుకు వస్తున్నారు.

నమస్కారం మిత్రులారా….
సామాజిక మాధ్యమాలు అందుబాటులోకి వచ్చాక కళా ప్రపంచంలో అనేక ‘ఆర్ట్ ఛాలెంజెస్’ చూస్తున్నాము.
అటువంటిదే ఒక ఆర్ట్ ఛాలెంజ్ ను నేను మీ ముందుకు తీసుకుని వస్తున్నాను. ఈనెల డిసెంబర్ 11 న మొదలై ఇదే నెల 31 వ తారీకు వరకూ సాగే ఈ 21 రోజుల కళాయజ్ఞంలో అనేక మంది యువ, సీనియర్ చిత్రకారులు పాల్గొనాలని కోరుతున్నాను. దీనివలన చిత్రకారుల మధ్య పరిచయాలు ఏర్పడటమే కాక సుహృద్బావ వాతావరణంలో పని నైపుణ్యం పెరుగుతుంది. చిత్రకళా విద్యార్థులకు, హాబీ చిత్రకారులకు ఈ కళాయజ్ఞంలో పాల్గొనడం ఎంతో ఉపకరిస్తుంది.
చక్కటి ప్రతిభ కనబరిచిన 21 మందికి ప్రోత్సాహక బహుమతులు, అలాగే క్రమం తప్పక ఛాలెంజ్ పూర్తి చేసిన ప్రతి ఒక్కరికి సర్టిఫికెట్ అందజేయబడుతుంది.
కళాయజ్ఞం పూర్తయిన తరువాత ఎంపిక చేయబడ్డ అత్యుత్తమ చిత్రాలతో హైదరాబాద్ లో మూడు రోజులపాటు ప్రదర్శన ఏర్పాటు చేయబడుతుంది. అలాగే ఒకరోజు నిర్వహించ బడేటటువంటి ఉత్తమ చిత్రకారులచే డెమన్స్ట్రేషన్ ప్రోగ్రాంలో ఉచిత ఎంట్రీ ఉంటుంది.

డ్రాయింగ్ ప్రధానంగా సాగే ఈ కళాయజ్ఞంలో పెన్సిల్, చార్కోల్, ఇంక్, ఆయిల్, అక్రిలిక్ కలర్స్ లో వేయవచ్చు. (ఏదైనా సింగల్ కలర్ మాత్రమే వాడాలి- చిత్రం ఏ సైజులో నైనా వేయవచ్చు).
ప్రతిరోజూ ముందు అనౌన్స్ చేసిన సబ్జెక్టు ప్రకారం బొమ్మ వేయాలి
చిత్రకారులు వారి సొంత బొమ్మను మాత్రమే పోస్ట్ చెయ్యాలి.
ఆ తేదీని బొమ్మపై వ్రాసి రాత్రి 12 గంటల లోపు సామాజిక మాధ్యమంలో పోస్ట్ చెయ్యాలి.
విధిగా ఇచ్చిన హ్యాష్ ట్యాగ్ టైప్ చెయ్యాలి.

Most of you from the art world might have been aware of some of the art challenges …
I am starting one such challenge encouraging all the upcoming artists to keep up with their practice and hone their skills further. I request my practicing artist friends too to be a good sport and take part in this challenge or post occasionally with the corresponding theme for the day. It can be great motivation for all.
Many students approach me asking for assignments to help them maintain the consistency with their practice…… some of them would have lost motivation or hit a creative void and struggling to get back to form…
This challenge is for those
- who are looking for discipline in their art practice
- who are looking to grow as an artist and improve their skills with consistent practice habits
- or to all those who like challenges in general.
To come up with their own ideas for each day is a challenge for many. In order to make it easy, I will give you daily prompts. The list will be revealed in advance.
I am starting this challenge in the social media platform so a broader set of artists can benefit.

An artwork a day
Challenge is for 21 days, starting from Dec 11th to Dec 31st, and the challenge is open to all, be it a beginner, practicing artist or a professional artist and all age groups
-A certificate will be given to all the artists who successfully complete the challenge.
-21 artworks shortlisted to be part of a 3-day display in a reputed
gallery in Hyderabad and the shortlisted participants are given a
chance to attend demos by reputed artists.
How to take part in the challenge?
To take part in this challenge:
- Join the Facebook group “Brahmam KalaYajna”

- Post it with the hashtag #Brahmam21DaysKalaYajna
- Mention the Day and the prompt for the day when you post

- You can use any medium (other than digital). As I consider sketching as the key element in making art, I would prefer you to stick to sketching materials like graphite/charcoals/pens. In case you use paints, make sure to make it in monochromatic.
Note:
• Make sure to post your work by the end of each day.
• Digital works are not allowed for the competition
• Artists should share their own works
• Artists who submit copy works will not be eligible for the competition
